Anne is of Canadian descent, and she is the director, founder and English Department head at English Girona. Anne majored in English Literature from Langara College in Vancouver, BC, and later on, obtained a TEFL certificate. She has been teaching English for over 10 years and during this time, she has worked with different professionals, peoples of all ages and levels as an English teacher.
Albert is the official Catalan and Spanish teacher at English Girona. He is also the co-founder of the school and management's right hand. Albert has a Spanish Teaching Certificate as well as a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a second language. He also teaches Japanese to beginners.
Josh is one of our English teachers at English Girona. Born and raised in York, UK, Josh has studied at the University of Nottingham and is currently completing a Masters degree in Translation from the University of Bristol. TEFL qualified with native language skills, Josh is a true professional and can aid your growth in language learning.
Tèrése has been working as a French teacher for eight years. She is from the little town of Ansouis, and she moved to Girona two years ago. She had previously been working as a translator and teacher in a language school in Barcelona. Tèrése teaches both adults and children.
Hanako is from Japan and has practically just landed in Girona. She had been working in London before coming to Girona as a Japanese teacher. She speaks English fairly well. Hanako only teaches Japanese to upper-intermediate and advanced levels.
Noah has just finished his university degree in children's education and has decided to live abroad for one year. Noah has spent time studying in the United States to improve his English and he also spent a summer teaching German in Mexico.
Aristarkov's parents are Russian, but he has lived all his life in Barcelona. He has been working as a Russian teacher for three years in Barcelona and now, he has decided to make a change and come to live and work in Girona.
Fend Dai is from Shanghai and has worked in Australia and New Zealand as a Chinese teacher. She has decided to move to Europe to explore different cultures. She is been living in Girona for six months and is learning Spanish and Catalan very quickly.
Tolkien is English Girona's official pet. His name has granted him the position of elvish language teacher, only available in private lessons. He is also an expert in canine language, as he would say: "woof" "woof" "woof!"
